Family living the dream of Australia

Permanent Resident

Hurra, Hurra, wir bleiben da!

….YEAH, we made it!

After lodging our Visa Form on Friday last week, it was aproved on Wednesday! We’ve been told it takes about three month to aprove a PR Visa and we got it after THREE days! That is sooooo amazing!

Thomas rang me at work to tell me that four out of five got it and I thought they might have dismissed Joshi again, but it was me, as Thomas told me. I couldn’t believe it, again they told us on a Friday and spoiled our weekened! After a while Thomas said ” Just kidding”! I can tell you what a relieve that was!

All my colleagues were pretty excided as well and Selena even bought me something very Aussie: Lemmingtons, to celebrate! How nice!

For Dinner we had planned to go out and celebrate with our best australien Friends, Dave and Jenny and family, unfortunately, we couldn’t get a table booked with such a short notice, on a friday night!

So we ended up getting Pizza and had a little Party at their house. We had a bit of wine, white chocolate liqueur (both Hunter Valley souveniers), original Tiramisu (Bettas recipe) and small Pavlovas! What a feast, but we had a good reason as everyone will have to admit!

Now we are allowed to buy Properties as we want, are entitled for Medicare, don’t have to pay for public schools anymore, etc!

What a great start to the weekend.

On Saturday morning the boys were playing Soccer. Josh started off with an upsetting lost and a result that doesn’t show how great they played. After that it was time for Timon to score two more goals and safe the second victory in the second game!

Today, Merle and I joined the Scouts at the Water Activities day. What a fun that was. We went to Woolich, a suburb right at the stretch of the CBD.

We got divided into ceveral groups. They had three types of boats and we were to get a go with each of them.

Merle started of with some Canoeing and I got a go with the Sailing boat. That was fun as we fought off the other boats in splashing them with water and get them soaked (well, of course we got soaked as well).

After that, Merle got a go with the Sailing boat and they even got the chance to get us wet!!!! My second go was the Zodiac ( a big, motorised rubber boat). How much fun that was, we were jumping and jumping and jumping over the waves! We went into the City, underneath the Harbour Bridge, passed the Opera, Botanical Garden, Mrs Macquaries chair, Ford Denniston, Luna Park and McMahons Point. After we got back to the Scouts, we had a yummy Lunch!

Unfortunately we had to finish that inside as a huge Thunderstorm went over us and they had to call the last swap off. But still we got to do two thirds of the activities and had heaps and heaps of fun!
