Future Socceroo

Yesterday was a very good soccer morning, despite the fact, that Timons game was at 8.15am which is just such an awful time for a saturday morning and both boys lost their games.

After Timon had a good game, we had to go to Joshis game straight afterwards, just to find out that three boys dodn’t show up. which ment they not just had no subs, but they were also just eight players in total instead of nine.

So after a bit of convincing, Timon joined the boys on the Field and ran and ran and ran. There was no stopping him and no fear at all against all those much taller boys and all of them beeing two, up to three years older than him. And the biggest difference between his and Johis game is, that Joshi plays on a 3/4 Field, which is just huge compared to Timon!

The boys from our team were great as well and supported him all the way, they saw him as an equal and passed to him like to anybody else!

And one couldn’t really see, that he is so much younger as he seemed to grow with the task, he played so much better that in the morning!

Joshi was the Goalie in the first half and he was great, defending his Goal. No fear for hard kick, nothing!!

After having a shower in the afternoon, one could see him getting really tired at about five thirtyish. I reckon he gave it all!!!

And in June we know that we’re missing two boys for two weeks, so he might get another chance!!
