… that’s what we had.
I think I mentioned before, that we had planned to go to the City (Darling Harbour) with three other families to celebrate various things!
Unfortunately we had to cancel that as it is just too hard at the moment to get all of us organised.
But.. we got invited to Rache and Craig’s to have Dinner at their house on Saturday, instead of going into the City!
So we packed Swimmers, Games, Kids and some food and headed off.
After we fed the Kids, all we had to do, was sit down ourselves, enjoy some yummy dishes, have some drinks and a great time.
And then we could call it Gametime, as soon as the Kids were asleep.
We played a card game which isn’t really that much more demanding than ‘MauMau’.
And just four and a half or five hours later I could hardly get up as I had a muscle ache from all that laughing (lucky, I was the looser of the game most of the night and haven’t had to move that much ;-)!
Oh and of course, I may not forget the most delicious cake I got ( Thank you soooooo much, Jen).
That’s what was left of it the next day; we forgot to take a picture before we tucked in!
All I can say is, that Saturday night was one of the nicest and definately the funniest we had in a very long time.
Thank you so much for that : Rachel, Craig, Jenny, Dave, Karyn and Andrew!
Sunday morning though we had to give it a slow start, as we’re not really used to stay up that long!
But after a relaxing breakfast, I could really enjoy my present:
I am sooooo proud of my Pandora! Finally!!
Early afternoon we headed of to the City, to walk around Darling Harbour.
The following pictures will give you an impression and I think I don’t really have to phrase it as sometimes a picture says more than a thousand words (specially if it’s Timon in the picture)…..
As we had thought of having Dinner at Darling Harbour we had to get new clothes for Timon so we could go and sit down somewhere as he was soaking wet.
Well, what can I say, at least he entertained the crowds (as usual). Maybe we should set up a hat next time and he can earn some money for his education.
Unfortunately we couldn’t get a table to sit and have Dinner so we drove to a Pizza Place and had Dinner there!
All in all it was a really, really great weekend.
Great weather on Sunday, really good friends to celebrate with on Saturday and a perfect relaxing night of games!
If just I could laugh again, but it still hurts sooooo much 😉
